My transnational feminist cultural studies scholarship focuses on mixed race, gender and sexuality in the African Diaspora. Across my various publications I have written about visual representations of mixed race, Black girlhood, feminist ethnography, colorism and anti-blackness, films of the African diaspora, and much more.
